Human Resources, Payroll and Financials

In June 2008, the University completed the purchase of the Human Resource, Payroll and Financial components of Oracle's PeopleSoft for the ConnectCarolina project. PeopleSoft's Campus Solutions is currently being configured by the ConnectCarolina project team for student systems at the University. Imiiplementation of the Human Resource, Payroll and Financial components will begin in January 2010.

Stakeholder Committees are reviewing existing policies and business processes in the Finance, Payroll and Human Resource areas. The goal of all of these groups is to identify potential policy and process improvement opportunities that have both a positive benefit to the University now as well as facilitate the implementation of the human resources/payroll and financial components of the new system.
